Why was this scholarship meaningful to you?

The generosity of the Lonza Pharma Bend Scholarship will help me pay off my undergraduate student debt before I apply to medical school, providing me with more time and financial resources that will improve my chances of admission. Additionally, I am a first-generation college student with a very dissociated family, so I often feel very isolated financially and physically from them. This scholarship has provided additional support that I have needed to succeed academically. I sincerely thank all the donors and coordinators responsible for helping to make my dreams come true.
