Best College Rankings Success for Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges & Universities Members

TUALATIN, OR – The Oregon Alliance of Independent Colleges and Universities is proud to share that eleven of its member colleges and universities have been included in the 2024 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges rankings.

Best Colleges has four overall rankings: National Universities, National Liberal Arts Colleges, Regional Universities, and Regional Colleges. Within each of these four overarching rankings, there are distinct areas where colleges and universities are ranked by their academic missions, which include categories such as social mobility, best value, and undergraduate teaching. The rankings are determined based on a variety of factors, such as academic quality, graduation rates, faculty resources, diversity, affordability, and more. All eleven of The Alliance’s ranked colleges and universities earned a spot on the “Top Performers in Social Mobility” list and nearly half are included on the “Best Value Schools” ranking within each of the four categories. The Best Colleges rankings stand as a testament to the dedication of our member institutions in meeting the diverse and evolving needs of their students. These rankings underscore their commitment to delivering personalized and high-quality educational experiences that empower students to forge their own paths toward success, both during their academic journeys and into their post-graduation endeavors.
