At first, Heather looked at schools on the east coast because she wanted something different and challenging from what she knew, but as her college search evolved, she realized Reed offered that. Reed is a place where people with different passions (within and without the classroom) come, knowing that they will be asked to justify and further these passions. Heather says she will be forever grateful for the support that she has found in the professors of her department, academically and professionally. “The commitment of the faculty to the students here is astonishing,” she adds.
