Oregon Private College Week 2022 Welcomed Over 1,000 Student Visits to Alliance Member Campuses

TUALATIN, OR – The Alliance and its undergraduate private college and university members welcomed over 1,000 student visits during Oregon Private College Week July 25-29, 2022. Prospective students and their networks travelled from 26 states and less than half of visiting students were Oregon residents. A few prospective students travelled from as far as Zurich and India to discover what Oregon’s private colleges have to offer.

During Oregon Private College Week, prospective students as well as community-based college access programs such as GEARUP and ProjectYouth+ are invited to visit, explore, ask questions, learn about academic programs and financial aid, talk to admissions staff, and tour the campuses. Campus visitation sessions were held concurrently on participating campuses at 9 a.m. and at 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, July 25-29.
